Motel 6-Joliet, Il - I-80

When I booked room, I asked for non-smoking room. They gave me a smoking room. Plug for Air-conditioner was in pieces on floor. Carpet looked as if it had never been cleaned. Lifted up comforter on one of the beds and there were paper scraps under bed on floor. Comforters both had burn holes in them. Trash can under desk had trash in it. When I went in to use shower, there were scuff marks all over the tub. When I grabbed a towel there were holes under both sides of the towel rack where the old rack had been torn out of the wall. At 11:30pm I called the front desk to report a group of people standing on the balcony drinking and being load. They were still out there past 1:30am wtf? When I left in the morning I told the girl at the front desk about everything and she said the Manager would contact me. He did not.

Our room smelled like piss! The whole place was dirty inside & out! Tile floors were greasy, beds only had a sheet and nasty bed spread, carpets had stains all over. Never took off our shoes. Towels stunk! Trash laid all over outside. Wont stay there again...

Friendly staff made my stay enjoyable.

This was the absolute filthiest place I have ever seen! Everything had a decades old layer of grime that didn't even wipe off with a wet washcloth. There were cobwebs that literally spanned the length of the room. The beds were so past prime that the springs pressed into your back. The ac was not functional, and even when they replaced the unit with another at max cool and speed it barely kept the room livable. I cannot believe that Motel 6 would allow their name to be on it. Things can be old and wore out and yet still be clean, we are not high maintenance folks and do not want to spend lodging funds on unneeded ammenties, but clean does not have to be fancy. My only hope is that we didn't bring any bugs home with us. Unfortuanately all hotels in the area were booked solid. Do not stay here, unless your into filth!!

I like Nothing this is a very old Hotel 25 Plus i was told. it has never been up date A/C did not work in 50% for rooms i rented. two of us are in wheel chairs and we had to walk up 26 steps to get to a almost cool room. everything around was sold out it was a race weekend. Very unhappy with hotel 6 right now tried to get in touch with motel 6 it was a joke i still been trying Harvey

Nice little hotel located right by the nearest grocery store as well as many stores. Modern and spotless room with the music blaring, the bathroom in, microwave. Helpful and attentive staff and attention to detail. Relaxing overall experience.

Proximity to local destination and price.

Beds not that comfortable, pillows might as well not even be available, parking was inconvenient and difficult, air conditioner didn't work though staff did work to correct.

While the beds offered some comfort, the cleanliness was lacking with cigarette burns on sheets and the room having a shabby appearance. Interactions with staff were pleasant, yet a more attentive housekeeping service would make a big difference .

Loved Joliet, the hotel was little in back parking area. The room was spotless and modern with the music blaring, we stayed in all day. The staff was very amiable and amicable throughout the day.

Close to the freeway. It was quiet late night. Very firm mattress

Shabby carpet and decor Postage stamp pillows Door appeared to be muscled in at one time No kleenex Stomped some kind of bug (roach??) in the bathroom in the wee hours. Granted it was motel6, I did not expect to much. But with the elevated prices on race weekend........

I loved relaxing by the pool and enjoying the cozy outdoor seating area. The pillows could've been a bit thicker, but overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend checking it out 😊
